Topic of the Master's thesis
As part of your master's thesis, you will address the question of how different levels of vertical integration and technologies can be integrated and mapped in PLM and CLM processes.
This includes processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, and additive manufacturing.
The topic combines methodological approaches to modeling data and processes with practical application in real manufacturing scenarios.
The work at Wagner Informatik is being carried out in cooperation with toolcraft AG and the FAPS chair at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and combines scientific methodology with concrete industrial applications.

Working as a student trainee as preparation

✓ Conducting a feasibility study (proof of concept) on the use of CLM approaches at toolcraft AG
✓ Investigating how a continuous CLM process can be established from CAD to the shop floor
✓ Considering relevant systems: ERP, PLM, MES
✓ Focusing on machining and additive manufacturing
